Controlling Blink Using Driven
The aim of this tutorial is to teach how to use the Driven tweener to control morph targets and drive the animation of those morph targets using custom controls that can make the control of these animated parameters more intuitive and efficient. You will create a 4 second animation using a morph targeted model.

Before beginning this tutorial, you should have the Driven tweener installed and unlocked using your serial code. If you are using Driven in evaluation mode you can still follow the tutorial however you will not be able to save your files and you will not be able to bake your tweeners into linear keyframes.

You will also need to have the Convert to Wireframe plugin installed and unlocked and the Custom Controls Package installed in your Object Browser. You can install the Custom Controls Package by placing the Custom Controls Package folder into your My Objects folder and restarting Carrara. You will then need to go down to the Browser panel and install the objects by clicking on Add Folder and navigating to the Custom Controls Package folder and clicking OK. Choose to add the Objects in the folder. If you do not have a serial code you will not need to install the Convert to Wireframe plugin. Instead you will need to create your own controls use native Carrara primitives.

And lastly you will need the support file for this tutorial called blink_tute.car.

Make sure that your interface is set up correctly. You should have blink_tute1.car opened. Your browser tab should include your custom controls including the 2DControl.

If you are set up correctly, save your file as blink1.car. If you are using the demo version you will not be able to save a usable backup.
